H7 Story: Faithful To The Word
It’s time for another Team Bash Award! This time, we’re honoring Jonathan Lewis.
Jonathan is the recipient of Team Code Game Ball #2, which reminds us: we “praypare” as if souls are at stake, trust that the Word does the work, excellence matter, and feedback helps.
For the past two years, Jonathan has faithfully served as the Greeneville Worship Leader and Coach. He consistently comes prepared and leads his team by modeling what he asks of them. He has a deep desire to remain faithful to the Word and is continually working to grow as a leader.
Here’s what others around FCC are saying about Jonathan:
Kris Carlson, Worship Director:
“He cares about leading worship in a way that honors God above the preferences of people. He leads his team with intention and prepares with excellence. He’s willing to learn new skills and invest his time in ways that bring others along in worship before the throne of God.”
Tyson, Greeneville Campus Pastor:
“Jonathan is very intentional about shepherding the hearts of the congregation as they enter into worship. He understands that what we do is holy, God-centered work that impacts our souls when we gather and sing. He does not take that responsibility lightly.”
David, Afton Worship Leader:
“It’s encouraging to see how seriously Jonathan takes his role. He knows that souls are at stake, and he trusts that the Word does the work. He is deeply committed to communicating the Word faithfully from the stage and helping people understand it as he leads them in worship.”
