H7 Story: Disciple Now Recap
DNOW 2025 was nothing short of incredible—an unforgettable weekend packed with energy, unity, worship, and life-changing truth. More than 180 people gathered, including around 150 students, as Arrowhead Church, First Baptist, and FCC joined forces with one shared mission: helping students find and follow Jesus.
This year’s theme, “TRUTH: I believe ______,” rooted in John 14:6, invited students to wrestle honestly with what truth really is and how it shapes their everyday lives.
Eleventh grader Calleigh Ford captured the heart of the weekend beautifully:
“I have enjoyed going to DNOW in the past to learn about God’s Word, connect deeper with my small group, and just have some fun. This year was no different. I loved deepening my understanding of the Biblical meaning of truth while also having great talks with my small group. My favorite part was connecting deeper with my small group through late night talks and spending time together. DNOW is always a fun time, and I look forward to going again next year.”
Students experienced three powerful worship sessions and three large-group teaching times, each one aimed at helping them build a solid foundation of faith:

Students experienced three powerful worship sessions and three large-group teaching times, each one aimed at helping them build a solid foundation of faith:
- Theology: Who God is and why it matters
- Anthropology: Who we are as humans and why that matters
- Christology & Mission: Who Christ is and what that means for our lives—now and eternally
- From there, students dove even deeper in their small groups, talking through real-life implications and learning how these truths shape friendships, choices, identity, and purpose.

The fun didn’t stop there. Students stayed overnight in host homes with their grade- and gender-specific groups, ate mountains of pizza, battled it out in a wild Dodgeball Tournament, and spread out across Greene County for hands-on service projects. Teams served at places like Locust Grove Thrift Store, the Hope Center, and Longview Ranch, showing the love of Christ in practical ways. (One group even tackled cleaning out the church van!)

Seventh grader Zoey Doss, who served at Locust Grove, shared how impactful it was to make a difference:
“My group volunteered at the Locust Grove Thrift Store. We sorted through bags and boxes; whatever we didn't put onto the shelves we put onto a large semi-truck which would take it overseas for the needy. I found this experience inspiring, and it showed how young people like me can help in ways that can create a large impact.”
Students wrapped up the weekend attending Sunday morning worship together—tired, bonded, and deeply encouraged.
DNOW 2025 wasn’t just a weekend event. It was a spark—awakening hearts, strengthening faith, and reminding every student that God’s truth is alive, real, and worth building their lives on.
