H7 Story: A Journey of Faith and Adventure
Hey there, fellow adventurers! My name is Noah Nasekos, I attend FCC at the Greenville campus, and I have an incredible journey ahead of me. In the last few years, I've been reminded of my purpose on this earth - to share the love of Jesus. And, to add a touch of excitement to the mix, the Lord has blessed me with a strong sense of adventure. With much prayer, guidance from mentors, and a heart filled with passion, I've made the decision to hike the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail, starting on March 18, 2024. This is not just a solo endeavor; I want you to join me!
As followers of Christ, we're called to spread His love and make a difference in the world. For me, combining this mission with my love for adventure seemed natural. The Appalachian Trail, stretching from Georgia to Maine, offers both physical challenges and breathtaking scenery. I believe it's the perfect platform to share the gospel and show God's love to fellow hikers and everyone I encounter along the way.
I'm extending an invitation to all who share my passion for Jesus and desire to step out of their comfort zones. I'm looking for prayer warriors, fellow hikers, and financial supporters to embark on this life-changing journey with me. Together, we can make a remarkable impact on the lives of those we meet along the trail.
My spiritual goal is simple - to grow deeper in my walk as a son of God in obedience. This journey is not just about the physical feat but a means of strengthening my faith. On the trail, I aim to be a vessel of love, light, and hope, as I interact with other hikers and share the message of Jesus.
Regarding the hiking itself, I set a goal to complete the Appalachian Trail in approximately six months. It will undoubtedly be a challenging and transformative experience, but I'm excited to see what lies ahead and the lessons I'll learn along the way.
