H7 Story: Knowing God First
by Charity Damrau (Kids Director)
In January, FCC Kids explored the virtue of “knowledge” and all the ways God made us curious and eager to learn. One of our bottom lines for the month was “knowing God is the most important thing.”
This has led to some pretty deep discussions on Sunday mornings about what is true and what information we can trust, and our kids have some amazing insights! Our FCC Kids leaders wanted to share some of the drawings our 3rd-5th graders created while talking about what they know to be true about God.

Our kids are growing up in the information age. With the tap of a screen, kids have access to anything they might want to discover. However, not all information they might find is equally valuable. We want to help kids understand that when they focus on knowing God first, the rest will fall into place.
