H7 Story: Jingle Jam Recap
H7 Story: Jingle Jam Recap
You missed out if you didn't make it to Jingle Jam a few weeks ago. With around 275 kids of all ages in attendance, everyone had a super fun night. Kids (and adults) sang and danced, participated in some fun crowd games, and watched Scott wrestle a reindeer.
Kids learned about the "Big Give" that God gave each of us. God gave us His Son. He gave Him to you and to me. He gave Him to shepherds. He gave Him to kings. He gave Him to two parents who were joyful and scared and amazed. But this tiny baby changed everything in the world.
The Shrader family came with their 3 kids. Daniel and Meredith commented that "seeing all the families together having a great time and celebrating Jesus, and blending fun Christmas traditions with the story of the birth of Christ, our Savior, the true meaning of Christmas, was the best.” 12-year-old Lily Shrader said, “The parade of characters at the beginning of the show was my favorite part.” Her 9-year-old brother, Hosea said, "I loved playing all the games."
During the "After Party," kids enjoyed face painting, a hot chocolate bar, cooking decorating and lots other fun games and activities.
A huge thanks to all the superstars who helped make the night a success. Kids Min and several of our staff and volunteers did a phenomenal job hosting and making it a fun night for everyone!
Thanks to everyone for coming. We enjoyed celebrating the Christmas season with each of you. We can’t wait for next year!
