Tell the Story: Next Steps in German?

Did you know we do Next Steps in German? Ok, not really, but this is a recent text message sent by a staffer to a new-ish FCC Family regarding Next Steps.
It's incredible to watch how God works and how he brings people together to work for His Kingdom. God brought Volker, Birgit, and Nilla Kemmann to FCC at the beginning of the year. Volker and Birgit came to the U.S. from Germany over 26 years ago, and their daughter, Nilla, was born and raised here. Most of you know that Bob Radank, South Greene Campus Pastor, lived in Germany for ten years with his family. Of course, both families were excited to have in common that they both love and have lived in Germany, one family as natives, the other as missionaries. This text was Bob welcoming them and inviting them to ask questions about FCC and Next Steps. All three of them are now completing the Next Steps process.
The Kemmann family has gotten involved in helping anywhere they can. A few weeks ago, they spent 15 hours, over 2 days working at South Greene High School with a group of teenagers from FL, who were visiting Long View Ranch, and a few other FCCers. With Volker leading the building part of the operation, the group built picnic tables, re-built the baseball bleachers, repainted the dugouts, and did some general cleaning.
Volker and Birgit just started serving on the Guest Team on Sunday and Nilla serves in just about everything at FCC. When you see them around, be sure to say "Guten Tag" (good day).
