Tell the Story: Campus Pastor and 3rd Campus Launch Announcement

A few weeks ago during Team Bash, we officially announced that Bob will be the Campus Pastor at South Greene High School, when we launch in the Fall! Like Scott said at the end of the Team Bash, “We truly believe the Lord sent us Bob and Kelly and their family!”
Carl DelSorbo, Chair of the Elders, prayed what the Radanks themselves called
“an absolutely beautiful prayer.” He thanked God for the Radank family, bringing them to us, and for the opportunity to serve the South Greene community:
“We thank you for bringing the Radanks providentially to FCC to help meet the needs of this local body. We pray for Bob and Kelly as he commits to the work of campus Pastor for the South Greene Campus. That you give him and Kelly hearts for the South Greene community. That you strengthen him for the work ahead. That you provide wisdom and discernment in leading, teaching, and shepherding that local body. That you’d bless this endeavor and go ahead of us, for apart from you we can do nothing, but with you, in you, and through you we can do all things. We commission him as our South Greene Campus Pastor!”

Find out a little more about the Radanks! Bob and Kelly have served in ministry together since early in their marriage, almost 17 years ago. In 2010, they moved to Regensburg, Germany to begin overseas mission work. While learning German, they worked with the student ministry in a German Church. In 2014, Bob became the interim Pastor at that same church for a year and in 2015, they planted a new church in the town of Neutraubling, Germany, where they ministered for 5 years until some difficult circumstances caused them to need to return to the States.
It eventually became clear that God had closed the door to return to Germany, and opened it to be a part of FCC. Since June of 2021, Bob has served as Next Steps/Missions Director and Kelly is Admin/Comms Director.
Bob and Kelly have 3 kids, Jackson (14), Grant (9), and Raegan (5).

To start getting ready for the South Greene Campus, we’ve been laying the groundwork with school officials, doing small outreaches, pressure washing the grounds, feeding the teachers, taking gifts and cards of encouragement, and we even recently renovated part of their Teachers Lounge, which was a really cool project! In the coming months, whether you’re a goer or a sender, we’ve got a whole bunch of ways for you to participate, like a Multisite Vision Night with Q&A, Launch Team Mtgs for all campuses, other outreach opportunities, promo campaign with signs and t-shirts, and practice and preview services. Keep an eye out for all that in Scott’s Thoughts and in an upcoming Elders Letter.
