Tell the Story: re:gen

New Year! New You!

Since the beginning of a new year is a great time to begin new habits, we think you should consider re:generation. Re:gen is essentially hardcore training in spiritual growth and basic theology in a 12-step recovery format. By working through these Biblical steps in authentic community, you can deeply apply the power of the gospel to find newfound freedom from sin, whether yours or the sins of others against you. Come check it out any Monday at 6:30p, and see how God is working! Go to fccgreene.org/regen to learn more.

God is working in people's lives through re:gen

"Before re:gen I felt worthless, addicted, not worthy of love, and I hated myself. This self hatred would often lead to pornography use and the cycle would begin. Because of regular time in God's Word and his work upon my heart [through re:gen], I'm thankful I now understand and believe my true identity comes from Him, and not how I feel from day to day. What we love and hope for sets the direction for our life. While I came to re:gen to fix one problem, I didn't realize I needed to adjust my true loves and hopes."

"When I first came to re:gen, I wanted to help women who were hurting and broken, not realizing God wanted to start with me. Before re:gen I thought I was ‘ok’. Then going through this process, I realized I was my biggest obstacle. In re:gen I have seen 'closer-than-a-sister' women open their hearts and homes to love on me and share Christ’s love. One of the best benefits of re:generation is meeting other broken people who come together to support each other… not to enable, but to bolster me up when I want to fall.”

“My first night at re:gen, I had no idea what I was in for, or even an idea of what issue I had come for. But I would learn pretty quick. Re:gen is a safe place for me to dig deep and give all my hurt and pain to God so that I could begin the healing process. Now God is helping me communicate better, helping me with my passivity. I’m not there yet, but I am getting better. I would encourage anyone to give this program a chance. whatever you do, stay with re:gen so that you can find your own healing and recovering through Jesus Christ like I did.”
