Marriages: Re|engage starts soon!

A new session of re|engage begins on Jan 10

Re|engage is an 18-week marriage enrichment program that examines God's design for marriage and applies Biblical principles to guide couples toward growth in their relationship. Marriages in any condition, whether broken, struggling, or just wanting to grow in oneness, can benefit. Click here for Details/FAQs.

Registration for the 2022 Spring session (Jan 10-May 9) closes on Mon, Jan 17. When registering, it will be necessary to register each spouse individually.

We will meet on Monday nights from 6:30-8:30p. Free childcare is available. Books cost $12/individual ($24/couple) and will be available during the second night of Open Group.
The Marriage Team is blessed with leaders who are on Kingdom mission with their spouse; couples willing to share the good work God has done in their marriages, through the good and hard times, to help others. Brian and Kristie Wilhoit share some lessons God has taught them through their experience as Marriage Ministry mentors and small group facilitators.

"Kristie and I have been very blessed in our marriage of 31 years. We both thank God every day for His guiding hand in our relationship. It has not always been easy, but we continually strive to be intentional with our marriage and our love each day.

Given the 30+ years invested in our marriage, we believed we had something to offer when it came to the Marriage Ministry at FCC. Our first opportunity was to lead a Foundation Group, small groups for newlyweds up to 3 years of marriage. We found that teaching through the material to this group also reminded us of the many ways God helped and strengthened our own relationship during the early years of our marriage.

We then decided that re|engage might be an area where God could use our story to help with couples who have been married for longer. While facilitating that group, we saw that many marriages share similar struggles and trials. We learned that even in seemingly good marriages, we have to keep our eyes on Christ and guard against sin and evil creeping into cracked doors in our marriages. And, we learned that God must be first. By putting God first, only then are we able to have and maintain a marriage glorifying to Him." ~Brian Wilhoit
