Just a quick less-than-one-minute explanation re why no online sermon this morning…

A few of us staffers were at a conference together all week. (G3min.org, if you’re interested. On staff, we do 2 conferences yearly. One is the Watermark Church Leaders Conference (churchleadersconference.org, https://youtu.be/AzCG3O1Mo-4) that all staff attend together, and the other is a smaller ministry-area-focused conference. So for a few of us, this was that, (the smaller one.)

Anyhoo, after Plan A failed, which was to have me finish recording the online sermon before we left, Plan B was to have me finish writing the sermon and record it in our hotel room. Would’ve been cool, eh?! → “How cool is this?! I’m at a funky cool hotel right next to the $1.6 billion dollar Mercedes-Benz Stadium where the Atlanta United play the World's Most Beautiful Game and some other pro team also apparently plays?! Here, check it out…” But alas, these conferences are 100 mph all day every day, and our Plan B didn’t work out, so no cool visual to introduce the sermon this week. (Btw, apologies for using the word “cool” two times more than necessary.)

So Plan C is to take the (best!) sermon preached at our 8:45a or 10a services and insert it into our normal online flow. Because that takes time to cut, paste, “render,” upload to 5 places, yada, yada… it’ll be ready for the throngs of dozens at 5p Sun evening, on Facebook, YouTube, FCC Live (fccgreene.online.church), and our app (fccgreene.org/app).

Read Daniel 4:1-37 to prepare for tomorrow morning, part 5 in Daniel: Faith Enduring Adversity – "The Fall and Rise of Nebuchadnezzar".
