H7 Story: A Day to Remember
Family eXPerience (FXP): A Day to Remember!

This past Saturday, our Kids Ministry and Marriage Ministry came together to host a special event designed to bless the entire family — our fourth Family eXPerience (FXP)!
The first three were designed for parents to spend time doing fun things with their kids:
This one was a little different. While parents enjoyed a well-deserved three-hour break to relax, connect, or simply recharge, their kids were having the time of their lives. From water slides and foam fun to music and laughter, the campus was buzzing with joy. A special highlight? A visit from the local fire department — who thrilled the kids by spraying them down with water straight from their truck!

While the kids were covered in foam and slipping down inflatable slides, their parents were off enjoying a peaceful afternoon, investing in their marriages. Our Marriage Team provided each couple with a set of intentional, fun, and thought-provoking conversation questions to guide meaningful time together.
Holli Bigham, whose three kids attended FXP, shared her heart about the day: “We’re so appreciative of everyone who helped make the Saturday event possible! Our kids had a blast — even our three-year-old, who’s usually attached to me at the hip, had a wonderful time and was sad when it was over!”
She and her husband, Jared, were also thankful for their time away: “We had a sweet, peaceful lunch — no cutting food or cleaning up spills! And we really enjoyed talking through the questions from the Marriage Team, which sparked both silly and serious conversations.”
Holli closed with a reflection that echoes the heart behind FXP: “We’re so thankful to have a church where we feel safe and confident leaving our kids — and one that cherishes strong marriages, not just in word but in deed.”
We’re already looking forward to the next Family eXPerience — and we hope you are too!
